Pakistani actor Fawad Khan was about to make a comeback in Bollywood with the film Abir Gulal. The film was scheduled to release on May 9, but its release was banned after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. Now the All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has completely banned the release of the film. Now this film will neither come to theaters nor on OTT. Along with this, Aicwa has also sought an explanation from the film’s makers whether they want to release this film on theaters or OTTs in future.

Aicwa wrote on X, the film ‘Abir Gulal’ stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, so the film has been completely banned. Fawad Khan is from the country which repeatedly attacks India. This is the same Aicwa that banned all Pakistani artists, singers, filmmakers and financers in India after the Pulwama attack. If ‘Abir Gulal’ is allowed to release in India, then it will be cheated on our country and insulting our martyrs.

Why the actor who stands against India support?

AICWA wrote, Aicwa strongly condemns it for the inclusion of Fawad Khan in the film. This is the same Fawad Khan, who stood against India and supported Pakistan, when India destroyed the targets of terrorists in Pakistan. These hideouts were safe by the Pakistani government.

Instead of supporting peace and justice, Fawad Khan raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad and criticized India’s action. When an actor supports the country that promotes terrorism, it is not wrong to call it a terrorism supporter, it is true.

AICWA questions from Indian film industry

Aicwa has asked a question from the Indian film industry, despite having so many options in the world, why do some people choose Pakistani actor, actress, singer and filmmaker? Is his art so special that the country’s honor can be placed at stake?

Aicwa appeals to Bollywood and all regional film industries to take a clear stand. The film industry stands with the country, our soldiers and the government, who are fighting a fight against terrorism. If the film industry did not stand with the country today, then this nation will remember that they put money above patriotism.

Aicwa further said, this is an important moment for the Indian film industry. Will you stand with India or with the supporters of that country who promotes terrorism? Those who remain silent today will be remembered for their silence tomorrow.

All Pakistani artists completely banned

AICWA re -repeated its decision and wrote, “All Pakistani artists, singers, filmmakers will be completely banned.” There is no place for those who support terrorists or are supporters in the Indian film industry.

When the whole country stands united against terrorism, Aicwa expects the Indian film industry to show respect for the country and stand with India. We will not allow our industry to be a platform for those who speak against India.
