Air India flight leaving for Delhi to Paris on Tuesday has been canceled after finding out the technical problem during a compulsory flight. According to the airline spokesperson, some problems were found in flight AI143 during compulsory flight-pre-investigation, and the problem is currently being resolved by the technical team. Due to the lack of time and the flight under night restrictions at the Paris Charles de Gaul (CDG) airport, the airline had no choice but to cancel the service.
The spokesman said that as a result, flight AI142 from Paris to Delhi on June 18 has also been canceled. The spokesperson said, “We are sorry for the inconvenience to our passengers and we are making alternative arrangements to reach them as soon as possible. We are arranging to stay in the hotel and also offer a full money refund on the cancellation or honor re -radiation on choosing the option by the passengers.”
Air India flight is the second flight from Delhi to Paris on Tuesday. An Ahmedabad Airport official said that earlier today the Ahmedabad-London Gatvic Flight (AI 159) was canceled due to the unavailability of Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft. An Air India spokesperson said, “Flight Number AI 159 from Ahmedabad to Gatwick has been canceled today due to unavailability of the aircraft, which was caused by airspace sanctions and additional precautionary investigations, due to which the aircraft had to return to longer than normal, not due to any technical malfunction, as claimed.”
