The political movement is increasing with the Bihar assembly elections to be held in November. Bihar elections are one of the most talked about electoral matches in the country. Political parties do not want to leave any stone unturned to get a majority. Amidst this discussion, Bhojpuri singer and actress Akshara Singh met Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Tuesday. Sharing a picture of the meeting on X, he wrote, “Today I met Honorable Giriraj Singh ji and received his blessings.” The post went viral on social media and people speculated that the meeting was related to the upcoming elections.

His mysterious message has warmed the market of rumors, which suspects that he is going to get a party ticket for the assembly elections. The BJP has not yet confirmed whether this meeting was just an informal meeting or has any political significance. Another reason for his meeting with the BJP MP was that he had previously supported Jan Suraj leader Prashant Kishore. In 2023, Akshara along with her father appeared on Kishore’s Jan Suraj Manch, where she praised her. At that time, there were speculations that she was trying to make her political debut with the Jan Suraj Party. However, later Akshara told reporters that she was not associated with any particular party and only associated with her ideology.
Recently, Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh met senior BJP leaders including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party president JP Nadda in Delhi and joined the party again. A social media user Pawan Kumar Shah commented on Akshara Singh’s post and wrote, “It seems this time you will get a ticket against Pawan Singh.” Popular folk and devotional singer Maithili Thakur also met BJP leaders in Bihar. This meeting is also speculating that the BJP may field him. Reacting to rumors, Thakur said that she would like to contest from her village constituency.

According to the ECI announcement, Bihar will vote in two phases on November 6 and 11 and the votes will be counted on 14 November. Announcing the program, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar said that elections will be held on November 6 in 121 seats of the 243 -member assembly, while the remaining 122 constituencies will be voted on November 11. The counts will be counted on 14 November.
