IG Pathak said that all the drones of Pakistan became useless. Despite acute missiles and drone attacks since May 8, our air defense systems performed brilliantly and we did not harm.
Pathak revealed that about 40% of the 600 drones launched from across the border – approximately 200 drones managed to enter the Gujarat region. Despite this violation, no casualties or losses were reported. He further stated that Pakistan had also deployed tanks and heavy artillery along the Gujarat border, which reflects the aggressive intention behind the attack. Highlighting the role of female officers during Operation Sindoor, Pathak praised the contribution of more than 800 women BSF personnel posted on the border. He made special mention of Assistant Commandant Amandeep and Niti Yadav, who led his companies in the most challenging area of the Creek region as a company commander.
IG Pathak said that Pakistan has suffered a lot in this operation. More than 20 terrorists of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed present in Bahawalpur have been killed. In addition, it is estimated that around 35 to 40 Pakistani military personnel have also been killed. The BSF protects the India-Pakistan border from Barmer in Rajasthan to Kutch in Gujarat. Based on the lesson received from the recent attack, the reader said that all activities are being analyzed for better preparations and better retaliation in future.
