Prior to the prayers of Jumme in Bareilly, the administration has banned internet services. Mobile data, broadband and SMS services were suspended from Thursday afternoon, which will remain closed till 3 pm on October 4. Chandrashekhar Azad reacted to the house detention and alleged that the government is using the police to suppress the opposition voices and the victims. He demanded a fair investigation into the violence that took place last week.
The prayers of Jumme in local mosques will begin at one o’clock in the afternoon. The administration has made extensive arrangements to maintain peace during Namaz. Maulana Razvi said that incidents have happened earlier on Friday, so it is the responsibility of all communities to not allow the Ganga-Jamuni culture of the city to come at any cost.
