Sunny Deol is bringing the film ‘Jat’ on the big screen on 10 April. Filled with plenty of action, actors Randeep Hooda and Vineet Kumar Singh will be seen with him in this film. The trailer of the film is getting a lot of love from the audience.
The film has been directed by Telugu director Gopichand Malineni. He is making his debut in Hindi cinema through ‘Jat’. Sunny Deol’s iconic dialogue two and a half kilos of hand was also used in the film.
Dainik Bhaskar has spoken to Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda and Vineet Kumar Singh regarding the film. Read the major parts of the interview…
Question- Sunny, what is the first thing in your mind after hearing the word Jat.
Answer/Sunny- Jat likes to eat, break and break. Somewhere, if something is going wrong, then stop it. Protecting people, Jats do this work. Hearing these words in my mind, the same thing comes first.
Randeep- We say that Hanuman ji is also a Jat. The reason behind this is given that for someone else’s wife, he burnt Lanka on fire in his tail. Justice, Action and Truth are the definition of Jat.
You will also see these three things in our film ‘Jat’. The slogan of Jat Regiment is also- Jat Balwan, Jai Bhagwan. There has been contribution of Jats everywhere farming, farming, army, sports. All the works of physically and jigra are connected to them. There are some bumps, due to which challenges also have to be faced in life.
Vineet- His amazing humor… The first thing comes in my mind after hearing the word Jat. Apart from the humor, medals of Tevar, Bravery, Good Looks, Friendship and all sports also come in mind. Many of my friends are Jats. He tells me that whenever Vineet goes to the premiere of the film, take our range to Rover. Don’t go like this, we do not like it.
Question- Sunny, Jat word matches your real personality a lot?
Answer- Yes, this is in my DNA. I am quite sure on DNA. Otherwise, there are so many such things inside all of us, which we do not have the idea why it is so. But DNA is behind it.
Question- Randeep, in the film, you have become South Indian Villain by not becoming a Jat. You didn’t feel strange?
Answer- I was very troubled to hear in the beginning. When I was telling the story, I was waiting to hear about my character. When the name Ranatunga came, then I asked that I am not playing the role of Jat? The answer was not received. I felt that people would make things in the village. I thought a lot about this role. He took opinion from his school friends, he said that if Sunny Deol is in the film, it will work.
Question- Vineet, have you been among the Jats for the film ‘Mukkabaz’ and have taken training from them?
Answer- Yes, my good friends are from Punjab-Haryana. I also have very good friends in Banaras. He did not even know that I am an actor. During the training of ‘Mukkabaz’, he kept her heart openly. I could not believe that in today’s time anyone could help.
Question- Vineet, on one side is Sunny’s roar, on the other side you make the sound of a cuckoo. What is the story behind it?
Answer- I grew up in the village. There the morning starts with the sound of sparrows. The voice of the cuckoo was in the mind. Somlu’s character in the film is quite colorful. In such a situation, speaking in the voice of the cuckoo of the character is improvised on the set itself.
Question- Sunny, two and a half kilos of hand is a fan following of dialogue. This dialogue is introduced in a new style in the film. What to say?
Answer- My dialogue is well used in the film. However, I am a little hesitant to do such things. But I just tried to follow what the director wants. You must have seen in the trailer that it looks good.
Question- You have ever called sorry to someone by using two and a half kilos of hand in real life?
Answer- See, there were many quarrels. There was no quarrel in the young age, it could not happen. I used to keep on messing up. Used to find excuses to mess up. When someone stared, there was a fight on it. Getting bored, I took a mess.
My friend’s family used to stop him from coming with me. The atmosphere and age used to do very strange things. Now I think, it seems that if the era of today had been spoiled, the father’s name would have been spoiled.
