The in-charge minister said that the special branch of the state police has also issued an advisory in this regard by issuing letters to the DMs and SPs of all the districts. It has been said in the letter that obscene, double meaning, casteist, words hurting the dignity of women and scheduled castes are being used in Bhojpuri songs of some singers.

Earlier, keeping her side on the attention, Pratima Kumar said that these days the use of obscenity and caste indicative words in Bhojpuri songs has increased unabated in the state.
