The Haryana government has started action against fake poor. In the last one month, 1609 families in the state have been excluded from the category of (BPL) below the poverty line. The government has also given ultimatum to fake poor families till 20 April.

They have been asked to leave the BPL category themselves. After that, if the government is caught, then a case of fraud will also be filed along with excluding them. Such people will be taken action under Section 318 of the Indian Trust Code (BNS). In which they can be imprisoned for 3 years.
Regarding this, messages are also being sent on mobile. In fact, the Congress raised the issue of fake BPL families in the assembly. After which CM Naib Saini has issued orders for action. At present, 51 lakh 96 thousand 380 families are in BPL category in the state.

2 types disturbed to make BPL card
- 1. Show wrong income: The benefit of BPL family in the state is available to the same family whose annual income is less than 1.80 lakhs. The government suspects that despite having more income, the families filled less income. After which this card was made.
- 2. Fake Bantwara of Family: The government also suspects that the family income of many families is more than 1.80 lakhs. However, for the BPL card, he fake the family. Now he is living together but BPL family is taking advantage by showing himself differently on paper.

In the category of BPL family, the same person or family comes, whose annual income is less than 1 lakh 80 thousand. On the one hand, the government is showing per capita income of 3 lakh 53 thousand rupees, while the income of BPL families is decreasing. For this reason, the number of BPL people has increased from 52 thousand to 2 crore 13 lakh in just 5 years.
