Large action has been taken by the Jalandhar district administration on unauthorized immigration firms. The Jalandhar administration has canceled licenses to 50 fake travel agents in the district. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal gave information about this.

DC Himanshu Aggarwal said that, these firms had not renewed their licenses despite issuing show cause notices. On not responding to the notice, the administration took strict action and canceled their licenses.

DC Dr. Aggarwal further stated that, the administration’s commitment to protect people from immigration firms, which did not follow legal criteria. He urged people to consult only registered immigration firms. Those who have obtained a proper license from the administration.
He informed that the Jalandhar administration is constantly monitoring all the immigration firms operated in the district. Action against those running businesses without a valid license will continue further. The move aims to curb the fraudsters in the immigration sector and to ensure this.
DC Aggarwal said that if any person has to do immigration work, then he should follow the law created by the government. So that he can get a license.
