Abohar police have arrested a woman and a drug dealer. The police have recovered 30 kg of poppy from both the accused. It is being told that both the accused used to bring poppies from Rajasthan and sell them here. But after receiving the information, the police arrested both the accused by conducting a raid and registered a case against both of them and started the investigation.

According to the information received, the informant informed SI Bhupinder Singh that Rani’s wife Rajesh Singh resident of Qutabgarh police station Guruharshay and Rajan Singh son of Gurmej Singh resident of Panjgari Guruharshay bring and sell poppies from Rajasthan. The informant said that both of them are bringing poppies even today, if a blockade is done on the spot, then both of them can be controlled.

On the basis of the information, police station City No. 2 blockaded. In the meantime, both of them were captured from near Riddhi Siddhi Colony. During the investigation, 30 kg of poppy was recovered from both the accused. The police seized the poppies and arrested both of them. Along with this, the police have registered a case under the NDPS Act against both the accused.
