According to Satish Anand, this ban will cause great loss to filmmakers. After the Pahalgam attack, the time to release the film was already very poorly chosen.

The film was being opposed before the terrorist attack

The trailer of the film was released on 1 April, after which Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) started opposing it. MNS spokesperson Amay Khopkar had said in an interview to Dainik Bhaskar that in any case the film will not be allowed to be released in Maharashtra. At the same time, he wrote on social media, despite saying many times that the Pakistani artist’s film will not be released in India, some cheap people are plaguing, the work of crushing such people will be the work of the soldier. Senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam said about Fawad Khan’s film, ‘India has a large number of hatred from Pakistan. When a film is released from Pakistan, Indian people do not like to watch it.
