A war broke out between AAP and Congress leader on Twitter

[ad_1]

Malvinder Kang vs Navjot Singh Sidhu: In the past, the prices of electricity tariffs were increased in Punjab. After this, the ‘AAP’ government of the state has come under the target of the opponents. While Sukhbir Badal demanded the Punjab government to withdraw this increase, Congress leader Navjot Sidhu has also criticized the government.

Navjot Sidhu’s tweet on AAP

Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu wrote in a tweet that “The value of the votes cast by the people of Jalandhar was reduced by the Punjab government in just a few hours by increasing the cost of electricity?”

The government is saying that the government will give money for the increase in electricity rates, but the question is where and how will the government give it, where will the money come from?

When the previous government left, the debt was 2,81,772.64 (2.82 lakh) crores, in one year in Bhagwant Mann’s government, it became 3,12,758 crores in 2022-23 and according to this, the debt is estimated to be 347542 crores this year. According to this, instead of reducing the debt during this government, it will increase to five lakh crores.

‘AAP’ spokesperson Malvinder Kang gave a clear answer

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang has responded to Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu’s taunts about the high electricity rates in Punjab. Kang said that the Congress government has left a debt of Rs 2.73 lakh crore as a legacy to Punjabis.

Its annual interest is only 20 thousand crores, while the Mann government last time returned not only the interest of 20100 crores but also the principal amount of 15946 thousand crores. Also cleared PSPCL’s 20200 crore subsidy bill. It was also said that by July 2022, the electricity bill of nearly 90 percent of the families in Punjab will come to zero.

Also, Kang asked Sidhu to ask Rahul Gandhi, who had returned after announcing 200 units of free electricity in Himachal and Karnataka, where and how this money would come from. Kang raised the question that although it has been almost 5 months since the Congress came to power in Himachal Pradesh, people are still waiting for 200 units of free electricity.
