In Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, a police officer was killed and two others went missing after a vehicle fell uncontrollably into the Kshipra river on Saturday night. An official gave this information on Sunday. He said that the body of the police officer has been recovered while the missing policemen are being searched.
Superintendent of Police Pradeep Sharma said that on Saturday night, the police station in -charge Ashok Sharma, along with a woman and a male constable, had gone out in connection with the search of a missing girl.
He said, “During this time his vehicle uncontrolled and fell down from the large bridge of Kshipra river. The body of the police station in -charge Ashok Sharma has been recovered. The team of NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) is searching for both constables.
