A person killed a pregnant woman in Meerut by attacking with a knife

In Amheda village in Ganganagar police station area of Meerut district, a person allegedly stabbed the pregnant wife and stabbed the pregnant wife. The police gave this information on Sunday.

Inspector (SHO) Anup Singh, in -charge of Ganganagar police station, said that the deceased has been identified as Sapna (25), who was originally a resident of Lisadi Gate area of Meerut. He said that Sapna was married to Ravi Shankar (28) in January this year, but there was a fight between the couple.

Sapna was staying at her sister’s house for about five months. He said that Ravi Shankar went to meet him on Saturday morning and closed the doors on the pretext of conversation.

The official said that after this he made several attacks on him with a knife, killing him on the spot. He said that after the incident, the accused himself called the police and reported the incident.

On receiving the information, the police officer (CO) Shiv Pratap Singh and Ganganagar police station reached the spot and took the accused into custody. Shiv Pratap Singh Singh said that the family of the woman is calling her a seven -month pregnant, although the police will be able to say something only after getting a post -mortem report about it.

Police said the body has been sent for post -mortem and evidence has been compiled from the scene. Superintendent of Police (Rural) Rakesh Kumar Mishra said that Ravi Shankar used to stop Sapna from going to her sister’s house. He said that Ravi Shankar has been arrested. He said that an FIR has been lodged against the accused in the relevant sections of Indian justice warning.
