During the investigation, the police identified his neighbor Sandeep as the main suspect and arrested him on 25 August. During interrogation, Sandeep confessed to the theft and told about the intention behind the incident.

NoDeep told the police that the cows of his neighbor used to roam around his house and used to dung in front of his door. Despite repeated complaints, the shopkeeper did not take any step and once he publicly abused her. Police said that “angry” Sandeep decided to steal and take revenge on the neighbor’s shop.
