The news of rape of a young girl has come to light in Patiala. According to information, a girl working in an insurance company in Patiala has been raped by a 52-year-old accused after calling her home on the pretext of a policy. Not only this, the doctor present there and another accused committed indecent acts with a 26-year-old girl. After somehow freeing herself, the girl directly reached the police station.
The girl said in her statement that the Lahori Gate police station has registered a case against the accused Gurwinder Singh resident of Fatehgarh Sahib, a doctor and an unknown person on the statements of the victim girl.
The case has been registered yesterday, confirming which the Lahori Gate Police Station Officer Ramanpreet Singh said that the main accused Gurwinder Singh has been arrested. He had raped the girl after inviting her to his doctor colleague’s house.
According to the victim, she works in a private job in Bajaj Alliance Company. While working in the company, he called accused Gurwinder Singh and told about the investment policy. On April 5, the accused said that he had come to Patiala to meet a friend of his, to come and talk there. When the victim reached the bus stand after being called by the accused, Gurwinder Singh said that he had sent his driver. The man who came to the bus stand said that he is a doctor of dietician and a friend of Gurvinder.
This man, who called himself a doctor, took the victim home with him, where after some time Gurwinder Singh came with another of his companions. Here Gurwinder Singh raped the victim and the other two accused sexually abused her. After freeing herself with great difficulty, the victim ran away from there and later filed a complaint in the police station.
