A 54-year-old man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a minor girl in Navi Mumbai. A police officer gave this information on Sunday. Taloja police station officer has identified the accused as Vilasrao Patil, resident of Panvel.
The accused was arrested on Friday under the Indian Judicial Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act, the official said. On October 23, the accused took the girl to a dark corner of the parking lot and sexually assaulted her.
