A grand event of Sanskrit week at Maharishi Valmiki Sanskrit University, two training camps launched

Kaithal. Various programs are being organized under ‘Sanskrit Week’ at Maharishi Valmiki Sanskrit University, Kaithal, with the aim of the importance of Sanskrit language and the Indian knowledge tradition to the people. Vice Chancellor Prof. Under the patronage of Rajbir Singh, the Indian Knowledge-tradition Research and Training Center and Sanskrit Bharti launched two Sanskrit Samvashi training camps under the joint aegis of Sanskrit Bharti. These camps are being organized from August 5 to August 14, 2025, daily from 9:15 am to 10:30 pm in the university’s teak campus.
On this auspicious occasion, presiding over the inauguration ceremony of the camp, the registrar and academic head of the university, Prof. Sanjay Goyal described Sanskrit as the basic source of Indian knowledge tradition. He said that Sanskrit is not just a language, but the basis of our civilization and culture. He especially emphasized that organizations like Sanskrit Bharati are making commendable efforts to remove it only by removing it from the academic language. Inspiring the students, he said that he should make Sanskrit a part of his daily life and create an environment in the university where Sanskrit is dominated everywhere.
In his address, Dr. Jagatnarayan, the Culture Culture Culture, gave a message to the students to learn Sanskrit as well as to make their ethics cremated. He explained in detail how Sanskrit is not only limited to grammar and literature, but it also affects our life values and morality. He highlighted the relevance and utility of Sanskrit through practical examples.
These training camps have been organized to familiarize Shastri, Acharya and Diploma students from Sanskrit. The main objective of the camp is to read Sanskrit in an interesting way and make it to understand its simplicity. On the first day of the camp, students were taught to introduce themselves in Sanskrit in ‘Sports-Games’. This teaching method focuses on making the language entertaining and accessible, so that students can easily learn Sanskrit without any burden.
These training camps are being successfully conducted by Dr. Naveen Sharma, Assistant Acharya of Astrology Department and Dr. Vinay Gopal Tripathi, Assistant Acharya, who is working as the convenor of the camp. He is accompanied by experienced activists Mohit, Sachin, Manju and Akshay of Sanskrit Bharati, who are practically practicing students to practice Sanskrit speech.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks to Dr. Krishna Chandra Pandey, Chairman, Department of Hindu Studies. He inspired all the students to participate in these ten days training camps so that they could take maximum advantage of it. Dr. Ramanand Mishra, Dr. Devendra Singh, Dr. Chandrakant, Dr. Govind Vallabh and Dr. Harish and other members of the university family were also present in this program.
