A film will be made on Maharashtra’s Lavani Queen, Shraddha Kapoor and Randeep Hooda will be seen together for the first time in the biopic of Lavani Queen Vithabai!

After the success of Chhaava, director Laxman Utekar is all set to bring another inspiring real-life story to the big screen, a biopic drama inspired by the life of legendary lavani and tamasha artiste Vithabai Narayangaonkar. This project has already become a topic of discussion in the industry. According to sources, this film will star Randeep Hooda in the lead role alongside Shraddha Kapoor, which will be the first collaboration of the two. The film will showcase Vithabai’s remarkable journey, her struggles and her immense contribution in preserving the rich folk art of Maharashtra, making it an emotionally powerful cinematic experience.

According to Pinkvilla, Laxman Utekar has joined hands with Randeep Hooda who will play the lead role opposite Shraddha Kapoor in the film, tentatively titled ‘Eetha’. A source close to the development told the portal, “The shooting will begin in Mumbai later this month. Randeep plays the romantic lead opposite Shraddha… The makers are extremely confident about the casting as both Randeep and Shraddha bring depth and versatility which is exactly in line with Utekar’s vision.”
