Doctors treating Pope Francis themselves have revealed this. 88 -year -old Pope Francis was admitted to the hospital in February due to respiratory disease. He was discharged 5 weeks later on 23 March.

When the Pope’s private nurse Masimiliano Strepeti was asked for the closure of treatment, he refused. He directed the medical team to continue treatment. He asked the team to try everything and not give up.

After further improvement in the condition, the Pope sought permission from the doctors to go home, which he also got. After leaving the hospital, Pope came to his home in Santa Marta, located in Vatican City. According to doctors, they will need two months to be fully healthy.
