The incident took place near Tahli Sahib Road in Arya Nagar of Kartarpur. Where the accused committed the incident in broad daylight and escaped from the spot. He entered the woman’s house around 11:30 on Thursday morning. Both the accused stayed inside the house for about 10 minutes. According to the information received, 65-year-old Surinder Kaur died on the spot. On the other hand, the condition of his daughter Meena Rani is critical.
After the incident, there is an atmosphere of fear in the entire area. As soon as the incident was reported, the police and forensic team reached the spot and registered a case of murder. At present, the police is investigating on the basis of the CCTV of the area. Because no clue has been found on the spot so far. That can lead the police to the accused. Surinder Kaur’s husband Gurmeet Lal runs a general store in Kartarpur. A few days ago he came to India from America. At the time of the incident, the husband was in his store, only then did he come to know about the murder after entering the house.
