Former Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto will present Pakistan’s side at the global level over the recent tension with India. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif assigned this responsibility to him on Saturday.
Bilawal told the X that the Prime Minister approached him on Saturday morning and appealed to lead the delegation to be a place of Pakistan for peace at the international level.
Bilawal said that he is feeling honored when he gets this responsibility.
Deputy PM said- Next step is a conversation
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar told a media channel on Saturday that the ceasefire between the two countries remains in rest and development is being done towards reducing stress.
He said- A roadmap is ready and we are following it. The next step is the conversation and we are ready for it.
Dar said- US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had called and said that India is ready for the ceasefire. “We reacted positively, but also stated that if India attacks again, we will reply.
Ishaq Dar spoke on the phone with the Turk’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and discussed measures to strengthen mutual relations and increase regional peace and security.
Pakistan Deputy PM Ishaq Dar once again said that India had earlier spoken about ceasefire.
PAK President Zardari arrived to meet soldiers
Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari visited Gujranwala Cantonment on Saturday and met Pakistani soldiers and praised him.
According to the Pakistani army, he was accompanied by Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi during this period. The President was welcomed by Army Chief Asim Munir.
Gujranwala Cantonment along with Pakistan Army Chief Aseem Munir along with President Asif Ali Zardari.
Shahbaz Sharif and Erdogan spoke on Kashmir issue
Shahbaz Sharif spoke on telephone with Iranian President Masood Poraskian on Saturday. During this time he appreciated Iran’s peace efforts in the Pakistan-India struggle.
Iran had offered mediation between the two countries when India Pakistan increased tension.
Apart from this, Turki President Rechpe Tayyip Erdogan also spoke to Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday Kashmir issue. Erdogan said that he is making every effort to resolve the Kashmir issue.
