Gurkirat Kripal Singh removed from the post of Secretary of Home Department.

Government transferred 5 IAS officers
Alok Shekhar has been appointed as the new Additional Chief Secretary, Home in five IAS and one PCS officer transferred by the government. They will have the cooperative department as before. Jaspreet Kaur Talwar has been transferred from the taxation department to the mining department.
They will also have additional jail and justice departments. Ajit Balaji Joshi, secretary of the Rural Development Department, has been appointed along with his old department as well as the secretary of the taxation department. Basant Garg has been appointed as Secretary of the Department of Agriculture.
The responsibility of Gurkirat’s departments was given to Sandhawalia
Dilraj Singh Sandhawalia has been appointed as Commissioner of Gurdwara elections along with his old departments. This department was earlier with Gurkirat Kripal Singh. Among the PCS officers, Ajit Pal Singh has been posted as Deputy Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs. He will also be the Deputy Director of Sports and Youth Affairs.
