Dhami said- In the meeting called today, experts have clearly said that one should not bow before the government. Shri Akal Takht Sahib also formed a 5 -member committee in this subject, but it is sad that the governments have fallen to the level today that Takht Sahib’s order is ignoring.
He alleged that the first time was given to the committee on behalf of the government, but the meeting was canceled as soon as night.
SGPC Pradhan met Rajoana
SGPC Pradhan also said that a meeting was held from Balwant Singh Rajoana recently. This was then discussed with Sikh organizations and experts. In which it was unanimously given the opinion that the petition should not be withdrawn under the pressure of the government.
Referring to the 2019 notifications of the Central Government, Dhami said that it has a clear mention of Jagtar Singh Hawara and Balwant Singh Rajoana, which makes it clear that their hanging sentence should be converted into life imprisonment. He said that Rajoana has been waiting since the order of hanging since 2007, and the case has been hanging for 18 years, which is against justice.

Sikh lawyers will also be added to the Supreme Court
SGPC head also shared information that Sikh lawyers should also be included in the cases related to the release of Sikh prisoners in the Supreme Court, so that the voice of the community can be produced before the court in an effective manner.
Dhami announced that a large meeting would be called in Teja Singh Marine Hall in the coming days, which would include a large number of Sangat and Sikh representatives to consider further strategies.
