There is a temple in Gurdaspur, Punjab which is named after the Kargil martyr. This temple of village Alaman has a statue of martyr Ranbir and people worship him daily.

Lance Naik Ranbir of 13 JK Rifle was killed by killing 25 Pakistan soldiers in the Kargil war. He was posthumously awarded the army medal for bravery in the war.
Before the martyrdom, Ranbir wrote a letter to the mother. In which he said-
Mother, I am fine here. You take care of yourself, do not worry about me, this is the moment of test for me.
Pakistani army’s stir, patrol attacked On 3 May 1999, some shepherds saw infiltrators on the hills of Batalik. Informed the Army about this. On May 5, 5 soldiers went to the command of Lieutenant Saurabh Kalia for Batalik hills to confirm the information, but they did not return. Pakistan started shelling in Kargil on 9 May. During this time, Ranbir’s unit also took the front.

During this, a bullet was also hit by Lance Naik Ranbir Singh. Pakistani soldiers, who were occupied by Kargil’s peaks, started firing indiscriminate bullets. Meanwhile, Ranbir Singh came forward to save his comrades and attacked Pakistani soldiers from the front. 25 Pakistan soldiers were killed in this firing.
Martyrdom on 6 June 1999 Even after the enemy was shot, Ranbir Singh fought fiercely. He was martyred during the war due to a lot of bleeding. Even after this, the unit colleagues continued shelling and took revenge on the martyrdom of Lance Naik Ranbir and evacuated a peak of Kargil.
Here the body reached there, the letter written to the mother reached Before the martyrdom, Ranbir also got the letter written by his mother. While the martyr’s family and the villagers were visiting the last darshan, the postman came to the time and gave this letter. It wrote- “Mother, I am fine here. You take care of yourself, do not worry about me, it is a test time for me”.
Posthumously awarded army medal On 9 May 1999, the Government of India posthumously awarded Ranbir Singh with the army medal after saving his comrades and killing 25 Pakistani soldiers. After this, the family built a temple in his name so that the coming generations would remember Ranbir’s valor.

Inquilab temple in Gumthala Rao village of Haryana This temple is situated on the banks of the Yamuna River and the martyrs have been worshiped here for 23 years. The temple has statues of many martyrs including Bharatmata, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Udham Singh, Lala Lajpat Rai, Kartar Singh Sarabha, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Mangal Pandey.
Martyrs are worshiped like a deity in Begusarai, Bihar Statues of martyrs have also been installed among the idols of deities in Parni village of Begusarai. They are worshiped here and the youth going to the army ask for wishes here. The youth come here before preparing for defense. They start preparing for recruitment after worship here.
