Appealed to Indian producers to boycott the Turks

In fact, Ashok Pandit, Chief Advisor of Federation FWICE, had written a letter on Wednesday to request from all Indian filmmakers to think before choosing the Turkas as a shooting location. He has cited the increasing support of Turkas towards Pakistan in matters affecting India’s national interests.

The nation comes first in the letter

It was said in the letter- ‘FWICE has always been adamant that the nation is the first. In view of recent developments and Turkas taking a constant stand in support of Pakistan, which has created concerns about security and national security. We believe that it is not in the interest of the Indian film industry to invest or collab in any form that indirectly supports or benefits such a country.

The Turkis have been seen not only diplomatically but also on different international forums, where it has taken the opposite of India’s sovereign interests. Since this industry lies deeply in Indian soil and culture, we cannot be indifferent to the dignity or security actions of our country.

Turki shows are very popular in India

Turkas’ shows are very much liked in India. Shows like ‘Day Dreammer’, ‘Endless Love’, ‘Love Is in the Air’ and ‘Gold Boy’ are popular among the audience. These shows are available on almost all major OTT platforms.
