Foreign Minister S Jaishankar answered media questions at the inauguration of Honduras Embassy in New Delhi.

Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said on Thursday that the Indus Water Treaty will remain postponed until Pakistan permanently ends terrorism across the border.

At the inauguration of the Embassy of Honduras, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that Pakistan has a list of terrorists, these terrorists will have to hand over it to us.

Along with this, he will have to close the terrorists’ bases. They know what to do. We are ready to discuss terrorism with them.

Jaishankar said- Pakistan will have to vacate POK

In response to Pakistan’s proposal to discuss Kashmir, the Foreign Minister said that only one thing has been left to discuss Kashmir. That is to vacate the Indian territory illegally occupied in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK). We are ready for this discussion.

Jaishankar stressed that there has been no change in India’s policy regarding the intervention of third party in matters related to Kashmir and Pakistan. Our conversation with Pakistan will be completely bilateral.

Regarding the ceasefire, Jaishankar said- it is clear who was demanding to stop firing. We have achieved the targets that we had set to destroy the terrorist structure.

Jaishankar said- Pakistani army did not listen to us

On the Pahalgam attack, the Foreign Minister said that we have got international support. We proposed in UNSC that criminals should be held accountable and on May 7 they were held accountable through Operation Sindoor.

Jaishankar said that at the beginning of Operation Sindoor, we had sent a message to Pakistan that we are attacking terrorist bases and not the army. We had given the option to the Pakistani Army not to stand separately and do not interfere, but they did not accept advice.

Jaishankar further said- On the morning of May 10, he suffered heavy losses. Satellite pictures show how much damage we have caused them and how little they harm us. This clearly shows which one wanted.

Foreign Minister also spoke on Trump’s claim of zero tariff

Jaishankar also responded to Trump’s tariff statement. Trump had said on Wednesday about the tariff that India had offered Zero Tariff Deal to the US in trade. India is willing to take any charge in trade from us.

On this, Jaishankar said that trade talks are going on between India and America. This is a complex process. Nothing can be said until everything is fixed.

He said- Any business deal should be beneficial and effective for both. This will be our expectation. It is too early to take any decision on it until this happens.
