Ukrainian President Volodimir Jailonski will reach Turki for a conversation with Russia today. On this conversation in the capital Istanbul, Jailonsky said on Wednesday that his country is ready to discuss any format of ceasefire with Russia.

Jailonsky released the video stating that Ukraine’s next step would depend on whom Russia sends for talks. Russia has not yet announced its delegation (delegation) for this conversation.

Last week, Jailonsky called Russian President Putin for talks. However Putin has denied this.

Putin and Jailonski have only met only one meeting. This conversation took place in 2019. Even before the start of the war in 2022, there was an attempt to negotiate between the two leaders, but they could not succeed.

Putin and Jailonski had a conversation in France's mediation during the Paris summit in 2019.

Ukraine-Russia accused each other of breaking ceasefire

On 29 April, Russian President Putin announced a 3 -day unilateral ceasefire with Ukraine. This ceasefire came into effect from 8 May. It started from the night of 7-8 May and ended at midnight of 10-11 May.

At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense accused Ukraine of violating ceasefire more than 14,000 times. Ukraine, on the other hand, says Russia violated the ceasefire implemented on its side.

Ukraine has described it as a spectacle. Ukraine’s Air Force said that Russia launched 108 drones and simulator drones on the night of 11 May. Out of which 60 drones were killed by Ukraine.

European countries talked about giving military support to Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Kir Stmper, German Chancellor Frederick Martz and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk met Jailonsky in Kiev on 10 May.

Also called for a ceasefire from Monday. The scheme has been supported from both the European Union and Trump.

Leaders of Ukraine, Britain, France, Germany and Poland threatened the Russian President that if they do not sign the ceasefire, the rest of the country would give military support to Ukraine.
