The Indian Army destroyed 9 targets in 24 minutes between 1:04 pm and 1:28 pm on 9 May.
US military expert John Spencer has said that India has fulfilled its strategic purpose through ‘Operation Sindoor’.
He said that this operation was not started with the purpose of occupying POK or changing the power of Pakistan.
The expert said that the operation vermilion is not over yet. Some people may call it a ceasefire, but it is not a break. Currently, India has won a major victory.
According to the Spencer, India neither knocked on the door of the United Nations nor warned Pakistan as before.
India sent a fighter aircraft directly and made an accurate attack. He said that India has brought its strategy against terror to a new level through this operation and has also given a clear message to Pakistan that the terror will be answered from the war.

John Spencer is the chairman of the Modern War Institute. He said that the Indian Air Force had attacked 9 locations in Pakistan on 7 May. This destroyed the important terrorist camps present in Pakistan and POK.
He said that India not only took action for showing but also attacked with full planning. India gave a message through this action that now the terrorist attack from Pakistan’s land means a direct war.
India showed- he is not afraid of nuclear threats
Spencer said that India’s action shows that India is no longer afraid of nuclear threats. India will accurately attack the terrorist bases developing under the guise of nuclear blackmail.
He said that more than retaliation, it was a declaration of a new principle, which clearly stated that India would no longer accept terrorism and negotiation together.
Blood and water cannot flow together. This is the new principle of India. India is now preparing for the old war but for the upcoming war.
According to Spencer, Operation Sindoor was carried out in several stages
7 May- Carred accurate attacks on 9 locations of Pakistan. The target included places like Bahawalpur, Muridke, Muzaffarabad. Terrorists were trained here.
May 8- Pakistan made large -scale drone attacks in western states of India, but India’s air defense system neutralized almost everyone.
9 May- India attacked 6 Pakistani military airbase.
May 10- The ceasefire was announced. However, India has not clearly called it a ceasefire. India has stopped firing only.

According to the Spencer, it was not just a military victory, but a well-planned plan was successfully carried out amid the shelling. This also gave big strategic benefits.
1. New red line drawn
Now India has made it clear that if there is a terrorist attack from Pakistan, then the army will be responded to. This is not just a threat, but is an example of what has happened.
2. Demonstration of military superiority
India showed that it could attack any hideout of Pakistan. Whether it is a terrorist camp, a drone base or airbase.
At the same time, Pakistan could not enter India anywhere. It was not a fight for equality. India’s strength looked very high.
3. Answer to pak to pak
India responded strongly, but saved a major war. It gave the message to the world that India will not sit silent, but will also keep the situation under control.
4. Had the difficulty alone
India handled this crisis itself without any foreign help or pressure. Whatever steps India took, took on their own methods and conditions. This is the real and changed policy of India.

India won a decisive victory from Operation Sindoor
Spencer writes that ‘Operation Sindoor’ was not about possession or change of power. This was a short -term battle for special purpose. Criticizers say that India should have gone further, but forget that strategic success is not measured by any major destruction, but is measured by political effects.
Spencer writes that India’s restraint is not weakness, but maturity. Today’s wars often occupy or turn into political complications, but the operation vermilion was different. It was an organized military strategy. India fulfilled its purpose in a very short time.
Operation Sindoor was a modern war, the whole world was eyeing it. The nuclear was fought with danger and limited purpose and was a perfectly a strategic success and decisive Indian victory.
John Spencer’s articles have been published regularly in the American newspaper The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, Defense One. They regularly appear to show their perspectives as military experts on news channels like CNN, MSNBC, BBC and FOX.
