Grain stock just 40 km from Gaza
The UN’s World Food Program said that the stock of food was over. Most bakers and donated kitchens have been closed.
According to Antony Renard, director of the UN World Food Program (WFP) for Gaza, the food required to feed the population of the region is lying in the warehouses of Israel, Egypt and Jordan.
These warehouses are just 40 km from Gaza. Renard said that WFP’s warehouses in Gaza are empty and the agency is now able to make food of only 2 lakh people instead of providing food to 10 lakh people.
The UN and European countries have demanded the end of the ban on providing food to Gaza to deal with the conditions of starvation and famine in Gaza Patti from Israel.
If Israel extended military action, most people will not get food, water, shelters and medicines.
