Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee held a meeting in Amritsar.

In Amritsar today, the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee announced assistance of five lakh rupees to the families of Sikhs killed in the Poonch attack. SGPC Principal Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that the committee will provide all possible assistance to the victim families.

SGPC also discussed the petition of Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana. Rajoana has written a three -page letter to the committee. In the letter, he has mentioned the discrimination against Sikhs from governments. He has also urged SGPC to withdraw the petition filed in his regard.

Dhami said that meetings are being held with representative organizations of Sikh Panth, Nihang Singhs and Taksalas on this national issue. Two meetings have already been held. On May 17, there will be a meeting with Sikh judges and lawyers in Chandigarh. After this, a meeting of Panthik representatives will be called.

Tribute to 4 Sikhs killed in Poonch In another decision, the route from Langar Sri Guru Ramdas ji to Baba Atal Rai Sahib will be beautified. Trees will be planted on both sides on this route. Baba Kashmir Singh Bhuriwala will carry out this service.
