Shamsher Singh, a resident of Manuke village, was returning from his in -laws Bhansowal to his home Manoo with his wife Kamaljeet Kaur. Cousin Jagmohan Singh was also coming on the bike behind him. The bullet, coming from Raikot near Nurpur petrol pump, hit his bike at a high speed.
Bullet driver absconding from the spot The injured couple were first taken to the government hospital in Raikot. DMC Ludhiana was referred from there.
