A big fraud has emerged in Shiv Shakti Nursing College located in Bhikhi area of Mansa. Deepak Kumar, son of college chairman Somnath, was teaching students with fake degrees. The college secretary Rajkumar complained to the police about the matter.

Investigation revealed that Deepak’s 12th and BAMS degrees are both forged. Police have registered a case under various sections 420, 465, 467, 468 and 471 of fraud. This case is particularly worrisome because students from various states come to study in the college. Local leader Yadavinder Singh has demanded a thorough investigation into the matter from the Punjab government.
He said that till now the degrees of all the students passed from this college should be examined. Police is searching for accused Deepak Kumar. This matter is of special importance due to being related to public health. Investigations will also find out when this illegal activity was going on.
