‘Favorite characters are those who like people less’: Nawazuddin Siddiqui said- The circus in films is not in my film

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s film Costao has been released on 1 May on G-5. The actor recently interacted with Dainik Bhaskar in connection with this film. During this time, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has also talked about the increase in ticket prize, not earning Bollywood films and the ongoing controversy over real -life characters. He believes that after the OTT trend increases, films are not running much at the box office, because the common man is not able to afford to watch the film due to increasing ticket prize.

Question- You have played a custom officer in Costao, what were the preparations for this?

answer- It is a very difficult role, we had to show his life, but not to make sensational. He has done feats which are impossible. He stopped one and a half thousand kilo of gold from smuggling. After that, their problems, the separation with the family and what problems come to them and finally the Supreme Court judges, in which landmark decisions are given. There is a very beautiful story, it was also very difficult to make the character, the more challenge the actor gets. Today our film is on G5, people are watching, liking. Talking about very unsuccessful heroes, who probably did not know earlier. But today he picked up such a subject, in which he has shown such a big sactivice of a human being.

Question- When you got the script, what was the moment to do yes?

answer- I felt that a few challenges would come to do it, but it is that the more challenges the actor gets, the more fun it is. Because after doing a challenging roll, it seems that something is done. It was different from the rest of my roles. It was also different for me, to try to do something different. Trying, now is in front of you.

Question- Real life character is getting a lot of controversy, so is there a fear of controversy?

answer- No, there was no such controversy in his life. But yes, the sensation that happens in filmmaking and not a hero will be some sensitive. People must have thought about my film that I will come and blow 10-12 people. I will jump, I will go up in slow motion, those who show circuses in films are nothing like this. The climax of our film is such that people may not have digest. Its climax is such that he goes to the cemetery and conferencing, in front of the dead man, going to his grave. This is not a suspense thriller.

Question- Your characters are quite different, Sarfarosh, then you have done Manto, now you have become a custom officer, what is your favorite role.

answer- See, it is as if you have 6-7 children of a mother, you ask the mother which one is your favorite, then she will say, all are. But my favorite roles are mostly what people do not like special. For example, there is a photograph or manto or costa.

Question- People say that Bollywood is having a bad phase, films are not earning, have the audience diverted due to the arrival of OTT?

answer- No, it is not so, new things keep coming in every round. He will keep coming. Earlier there was fear of something else. But yes, I think that era has come that films are not running. I do not know what is the region, but I have heard that the cinemas are quite expensive. The common man cannot do imagine right now. Earlier it used to be that every man used to go to see the film. Every man could afford. It has become very difficult to watch the film for the common man, so they wait that they will come on the OTT, then they will see it.

Question- You have said many times that you want to do a romantic role?

answer- I wanted me 3-4. But now I am. Now it’s a little to do it again and again. See, I cannot do any policeman’s role or a gangster role again and again. It is also of such a love story. Now moving forward, love is love.

Question- What are the new ones bringing in the coming months or years?
