A 9 -year -old child was killed by stray dogs in village Mohi in Ludhiana. Sanjeev Shah, who came to meet his grandparents from Bihar, was attacked by a herd of dogs. Dogs scratched the child’s neck, ear and many parts of the body badly.

The incident is on Monday afternoon. Sanjeev’s grandfather Shankar Shah took him to Mullanpur Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Shankar Shah and his wife Chanda Devi came to Punjab from West Champaran in Bihar a year ago for wages.
Came to Punjab with relatives
Sanjeev lived in Bihar with his mother Kishinavati Devi. Some time ago his father Mukesh Shah died. He came to Punjab with relatives on the insistence of meeting grandparents. At the time of the incident, Shankar Shah was working to fill the potatoes in sacks in the farm of farmer Sarabjit Singh. Sanjeev went to the nearby wheat field while playing, where the dogs attacked him.
Administration was informed about the incident
Jaswinder Singh, in -charge of the police station reform, said that the district administration has been informed about the incident. Tehsildar Harkirat Singh and Baldev Singh and other officials from BDPO office reached the spot. A plan is being made to prevent such incidents. In the evening, innocent Sanjeev was buried in the presence of administrative officials at the crematorium at Rudka Road in village Mohi.
