Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh made his debut in Met Gala 2025 recently held in New York. In the event, Diljit made a lot of headlines with his Maharaja look. After Diljit, the list includes actress Jandaya, S. Coops, Tranana Taylor, Rihanna, Nikki Minaz, Shakira, Louis Hamilton. Apart from Diljit from India this year, actress Kiara Advani, Shah Rukh Khan also made her debut. However, both could not make their place in this list.
Diljit represents Punjabi heritage
Diljit carried an inspired all white look from the Maharaja of Punjab. Apart from this, he wrote letters of Gurmukhi language on the cape he wore. This look of Diljit was designed by Nepali-American fashion designer Prabal Gurung. Apart from Diljit, Prabal Alia Bhatt, Isha Ambani, Shakira and Maria Sharapova have also been styled for Met Gala.
