1. Punjab: Schools closed in 6 districts, police holidays canceled
- School-college-universities have been completely discontinued for the next three days. Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has given information by tweeting.
- The government canceled the leave of all IAS officers. While issuing an order on behalf of the government, no officer will take leave till further orders.
- The holidays of Punjab Police officers and employees have been canceled from May 7 till further orders. In special circumstances, the permission of higher officials will be discharged.
- The Punjab government has postponed all public programs. Schools in Ludhiana have been closed for 9 and 10 May. Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain has issued these orders.

2. Haryana: Cancelle of officers and employees of Health Department cancell

- 18 districts with the border areas of Gujarat are on high alert. Black out was implemented on Thursday night in villages in the border areas of Banaskantha, Kutch and Patan.
