Now read the history of Maa Tripuramalini Temple …..

According to mythology, when Ardhangini Sati Mata could not bear the insult of not calling her husband Lord Shiva in the yagna of her father King Daksha and jumped into the same Yajna Kund. When Lord Shiva came to know about this, he sent his Gana Virbhadra and destroyed the site of the yagna and cut the head of King Daksha.

Later, Lord Shiva wandered in the universe, mourning with the burnt body of Sati Mata. Wherever mother’s limbs and jewelery fell, Shaktipeeth was built there. According to him, Mata’s left chest (breast) fell in Shri Devi Talab temple. Due to which this Shakti Peeth was named Maa Tripurmalini.

It is believed that whatever time comes in the court of Maa Tripuramalini for a quarter of a month, her wish is fulfilled. Every Friday, a grand post of mother is set up here.
