Around 430 flights have been canceled across the country on Thursday.
The central government has closed 27 airports in the states of North, West and Central India till 9 May amid tensions on Pakistan. These include Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Ladakh and Chandigarh.
Large airports include Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Chandigarh, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Rajkot, Dharamshala, Amritsar, Bhuj and Jamnagar. These airports are engaged in the Pakistan border. The operations of MP’s Gwalior and Hindon Airport in Uttar Pradesh are also closed.
Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet, Air India Express, Akasa Air and some foreign airlines canceled around 430 flights on Thursday. This is about 3% of the total daily flights of the country.

- Air India canceled all flights to 9 cities till 05:29 am on May 10. These cities are- Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Chandigarh and Rajkot.
- IndiGo canceled all flights from 11 cities till 05:29 am on 10 May. These cities are- Jammu, Srinagar, Amritsar, Leh, Chandigarh, Dharamshala, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Gwalior, Kishangarh and Rajkot.
- SpiceJet canceled all flights in 6 cities till 7 May. These cities are- Leh, Srinagar, Jammu, Kangra (Himachal), Kandla (Gujarat) and Amritsar.
- As of May 10, 165 domestic flights of IndiGo have been canceled. Airlines operate around 2200 flights every day. 20 flights of different airlines have been canceled at Delhi Airport.
