According to the police, on the night of 29 April, the accused arrived on liquor contracts in Mohanpur. The contract was closed and salesman Jaspal Singh was sleeping inside. Around 12 o’clock in the night, the three gave a voice and woke Jaspal and asked for alcohol. As soon as he opened his door, the accused pushed him inside and attacked him and tied his hands and feet and took away about 8,000 cash and liquor and escaped.

CIA-2 incharge Mohan Lal said that the police had registered a case in Sadar Pihowa police station. His team investigated and arrested the three accused from Punjab on 5 May. The vehicle, poles, 38 boxes of desi-English liquor, 4 boxes of beer and 3 thousand rupees used in the incident were recovered from the possession.

Robbed at gunpoint in Karnal

During the police remand, the accused confessed that the accused committed several incidents in Yamunanagar, Karnal and Punjab. In district Karnal and Yamunanagar, the accused looted the gun point. The accused then escaped by looting in Mohanpur. His 2 other colleagues are being searched. The accused were sent to jail by court order.
