The accident occurred in Ghani Mendhar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A passenger bus fell into a ditch on Tuesday in Ghani Mendhar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Two people died in the accident. 45 people are injured. All the injured were taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. After first aid here, the injured were referred to GMC Rajouri.
According to officials, the bus was going towards the frog, when the driver lost his control from the bus near the Khod Section. As soon as the news came, the police, army and local people reached the spot and started the rescue operation.

Army car accident in Jammu and Kashmir on 4 May
On May 4, an army car fell into a 600 meter deep ditch in the battery glasses area of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir. 3 soldiers died in the accident.
The deceased soldiers were identified as Amit Kumar, Sujit Kumar and Man Bahadur. The army car was part of the convoy going from Jammu to Srinagar. On the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway 44 at around 11:30 pm, the driver lost control, causing the car to fall into the ditch.

Earlier on 10 April of Jammu and Kashmir A Tata Sumo vehicle slipped from the road and fell into the ditch in the area of Mendhar in Poonch district, injuring nine people, including seven women.
According to officials, Ga JK 03C-5203 lost control and fell into a deep ditch about 100 meters below.
