3 arrested including Nigerian who supplied heroin in Tricity.
The Chandigarh Crime Branch Police has exposed the gang of inter -state drug smugglers who brought heroin from Delhi to Chandigarh and Mohali. Anti Narcotics Task Force (AntF) has arrested 3 gang smugglers, one of which Nigerian woman

The arrested accused have been identified as Rehma Nabusuulwa alias Martha aka Branda, resident of Emo State, Nigerian, who hails from Uganda, Nigeria, as Ashwani Kumar, resident of Joshp and Sector-56, Chandigarh. Police investigation has revealed that these three accused used to bring heroin and ice from Delhi to the youth in Chandigarh and Mohali region.
Police reached the investigation, passion and Rehema started from Ashwani
Chandigarh Crime SP Jasbir said that the police team led by ASI Narendra Pal arrested Ashwani Kumar near Sector-56 at 8:42 pm. 14.83 grams of heroin, Rs 5000 cash and two mobile phones were recovered from his possession. During interrogation, Ashwani revealed that the Nigerian citizen who bought intoxication from passion.
After this, the police arrested Joshap from Sector-127, Mohali. 9.77 grams of ice (amphetamin) was recovered from him. During interrogation, Joshp took the name of Nigerian woman Rehma. Police arrested Rehma alias Martha alias Branda from Sector-127, which found 11.93 grams of ice, 2 mobile phones and a small electronic scales in search.
Network spreads from Delhi to Chandigarh-Mohali
Police investigation has revealed that the three accused used to bring drugs from Delhi to the youth of Chandigarh and Mohali. These people used to pack deadly drugs like smacks, ice in small packets and weigh them with electronic scale and supply it to the youth.
The ANTF team is now investigating their network and it is being ascertained who else are involved in contact with them. Police say that soon other people associated with this gang may also be arrested.
