Palak, who has worked with two Bollywood veterans: After Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt is seen in ‘The Bhootni’, told experience

Palak Tiwari is an emerging star in the industry. Palak, who started his career with music videos, has done two films so far. In both these films, he got the support of Bollywood veteran Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. Palak’s film ‘Romeo’ is coming soon.

The actress has spoken about the industry, career and family in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar. Read the major parts of the interview…

Question- Palak, after the song ‘Bijli-Bijli’, in ‘The Bhootni’, you are once again seen in a super natural character. How is it feeling?

Yes, you made me realize that I have played two super natural characters. Perhaps there is a connection. In ‘The Bhootni’, Mouni has all the super power. I am a common girl, who starts doing super natural activity due to situations. Life is very boring, so when something is magical, it is fun. I enjoy a lot by being a part of such a film or music video.

Palak made his debut with Salman Khan’s film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Koi Jaan’.

Question- Nowadays the audience is very fond of horror comedy genre. How much do you like this genre?

I like to laugh. If I tell you the truth, I cry quickly. Recently, I was watching the children’s film ‘Narnia’. Started crying within ten minutes of the beginning. Nobody understood why I was crying. I cry quickly because I want something that I do not cry. I think if you do not want to cry, then nothing is better than horror comedy.

The combination of laughing and intimidation is amazing. You are afraid then laugh, it is a good roller coaster of emotion. I think this is the best combination, due to which everyone likes.

Question- In the film, all your bonds are looking very good. What was the atmosphere on the set?

Our film has a lot of fun, so the atmosphere of the set was the same. Our lines were also so funny that even if someone was bad in the mood, he used to laugh. Every day was pleasant on the set. Our director Siddhant Sachdeva sir is also quite funny. He has also written some lines in the film.

The dialogue writer of our film has worked in Comedy Circus for a long time. Now you understand how the film is so funny. We all enjoy the shoot every day. All the actors in the film are quite funny in real life. Whether it is Nick, Asif or Sunny. Everyone has a lot of fun.

Question- Sunny is also known for prank. He pranked with you?

I did not let them disturb them. On the contrary, I disturbed them. Sunny talks less until the dialogue is given. I am very talkative. You must have come to know that even now. I used to speak something in Sunny’s ear all time. Because of this, his mind could not walk that he could prank with me. For the first time, he got some collision.

Question- Would you like to tell a beautiful or memorable thing about the set?

The atmosphere of the set was so good that we have made memories every day. But I would like to tell you the story of the last day. That day I cried bitterly. All the people on the set were surprised why I was crying so much. I was telling them that I was going to miss everyone a lot.

Apart from this, I had a scene with Nick and Asif, in which I had to cry and take them somewhere. I had spent an hour for this entire scene. As soon as the scene started, I used to laugh after hearing Asif and Nick’s line. My face was not even visible in that scene, I had a back on him. I troubled Asif for that one scene that he later got angry. I am still calling Asif sorry.

Question- How was the work experience with Sanjay Dutt? Got a chance to share the screen with them?

I am very lucky who got me a chance to work with Sanjay sir. We have all grown up after hearing the name Sanju. Sir is so famous and big stars are that I was a bit scared of him. When I went to the set, she got very positive vibe and she is very much in love. If you are young with them, they talk to you so well. It does not seem to see them but they are very cute. His smile is very cute. Looks so cute when laughing.

He is a very Giving actor. If the actor is not on the screen at the time of the shoot, then his line Assistant Director, gives the body double. But this was not the case with Sanju sir. We always used to give us lines for this to do better. He is a big star and also the producer of the film, he had no need to do so. Getting so much respect from such a big star at such a young age was a very motive moment. He is a very good person. I learned a lot from them.

Question- You took any tips from Sanjay Dutt?

I did not need to take tips. Seeing the way he used to treat the set on the set, I was in my mind that I have to become this too. Someday I will become a very big star, then I will treat everyone like Sanjay sir.

I will not let anyone feel that the person in front is less than me or his scene is less than me. He is a very good person. He used to ask everyone’s well being on the set. While going from the set, everyone used to go by speaking bye.

Question- The most lovely feedback or complex for the film, you have received?

My mother and family are very important for me. I do any work, my mind that they should like it. It is very important for me to get validation from my mother. He liked my film very much. I consider myself my big critics, followed by my mother. They liked my work, this is a big thing for me.

Question- You have done the first film with superstar Salman Khan and the second with Sanjay Dutt. You told this to Sanjay Dutt?

No, I could not talk much to Sanju sir because I did not have much scenes with him. I got this film when I was shooting ‘someone’s brother someone’s life’. I first told Salman Sir about this film. I went to him and told him that my next film is with Sanjay sir. He was very happy for me. He told me that you will enjoy working with Sanjay.

Question- How did you get someone’s brother someone’s life ‘? Was any feedback from Salman Khan after the shoot?

Salman Khan is very kind. They are humble about everyone. He always says that you are all doing a very good job. I am proud to see the work of you guys. I got that film because of Bigg Boss. I went to the set of Bigg Boss to promote the song ‘Bijli-Bijli’. Then I met Salman Sir and would have felt something to see me.

He asked me if you would like to do ‘someone’s brother’s life’? My reaction was that I can live around Salman Sir for four months and I will get money for that. I quickly said yes. I am a very big fan of Salman sir. I can do anything to live around them.

Question- What do you like the good and bad thing of the industry? What would you like to change?

The best thing in the industry is that you are from anywhere, if you do your work well then the industry will adopt you. You will also get love from the audience. The bad thing of the industry is that as an actor we give more value to non -essential things. Materialistic gives expressions to things. Which should not happen. We need to work on it.
