This aircraft stationed in the height of 17 kilometers i.e. Stratosphere can monitor the large area.

The Indian Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) on Saturday conducted the first successful flight trial of the ‘Stratospheric Aircraft Platform’ from the Sheopur trial site in Madhya Pradesh. The aircraft has been developed by DRDO’s Agra -based aerial delivery research and development Establishment (Adrde).

In the first trial, the aircraft was taken to a height of about 17 km. The aircraft took a payload with a special type of equipment with it, which collected important data. Now it will be used in future aership missions in future.

It can remain stable in one place for a long time and can continuously send real time data.

Giving information about this achievement, the Ministry of Defense said that DRDO has successfully completed the first trial of this stratospheric airship platform in Sheopur. During the flight, the system controlling the pressure inside the aircraft was also examined by the system (Emergency Deflection System) in an emergency. The system was safely brought back after the test was completed.

Indian Army will be strong Dr. Sameer V Kamat, Secretary, Department of Defense Research and Development and Chairman of DRDO congratulated the DRDO team involved in the design, development and testing of this system. He said that this prototype is a milestone in the way of flight, the way to realize the light high -height platform system, which can remain in the air for a long time at stratospheric heights.

With this success, India has joined the few countries that have this indigenous technology.

Few countries have this technology DRDO wrote on the social media platform ‘X’ that this light (lighter give air) system will greatly observe India’s Earth, gather intelligence, monitor and increase the capabilities greatly. With this success, India has joined the few countries which have this indigenous technology.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has congratulated DRDO for this magnificent achievement. He said that this system would significantly strengthen India’s ISR capabilities and take the country forward towards becoming technically self -sufficient in the defense sector.
