The police team of police station Mohkampura under the leadership of ADCP-3 Jasroop Kaur and ACP East Sheetal Singh immediately took action and resolved the case in 24 hours and arrested the accused.

The police have recovered ₹ 4.5 lakh cash, 73 grams of gold jewelry, 350 grams of silver jewelry and sculptures and the stolen Activa Scooter (PB02-DK-9395) from them.

Case settled in 24 hours

Complainant Sunita Rani said that she had gone to the hospital on 24 April for treatment of her husband and on returning on 29 April she came to know of theft. Husband is suffering from cancer and often has to go out for treatment. The accused entered their house and stole all the valuables from the cupboard.

On the speedy action of the police, Mrs. Jasroop Kaur Bath, ADCP City-3 said that the case is the result of the police vigilance and technical investigation, in which the accused were controlled quickly.
