Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has said that we want allies in the world, not teaching. Jaishankar made this statement at the Arctic Circle India Forum 2025 held in Delhi.
In fact, Sameer Saran, the host of the summit, questioned Jaishankar what India should expect from Europe. In response to this, Jaishankar said

When we look at the world, we find partners, not the teachings. Especially those preachers who preach abroad do not implement them in their home.
According to the Foreign Minister, this problem exists in Europe, but Europe has reached the era when it will be tested with realities. How much they live up to this, it remains to be seen.
Jaishankar also questioned Western countries earlier
Jaishankar visited Germany in February. Here he took part in the Security Conference held in Munich. During this time he questioned the double standard of Western countries on democracy.
Jaishankar had said that western countries consider democracy as their own system and promote non-Loktantic forces in Global South countries.
Jaishankar was asked whether democracy is in danger worldwide. In response, he showed the ink on the finger and said that democracy is not just a theory, but a delivered promise.

During this, Jaishankar said that we are optimistic about our democracy.
Western countries have been accused of coup
The US and its allies have been accused of coup in other countries. Last year, former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina accused America of a coup. He had said that if I had left St. Martin Island in the Bay of Bengal for America, I could have remained in power.
Similarly, the US is accused of creating the Taliban in the 1980s to defeat USSR in Afghanistan.

Mohammad Yunus became the head of the interim government after Sheikh Hasina’s coup in Bangladesh. When Younus reached America, the then President Joe Biden embraced him.
