Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed about the arrest of two Pakistani supporters.

After the Pahalgam attack in Assam, there is continuous action against people supporting Pakistan on social media. The Assam Police arrested two people on Saturday.

State Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma posted on X on Sunday and told that action is going on against traitors supporting Pakistan on India’s soil. So far 39 people who supported Pakistan have been arrested.

The Chief Minister told about Saturday’s proceedings that 2 people have been caught from Hozai and South Salmara-Mankachar districts.

‘Titelians who defend Pakistan in India’

Earlier on Saturday evening, a person was arrested from Dhubri district of Assam to support Pakistan. He told that his name is Amar Ali. Earlier, AIUDF (All India United Democratic Front) party MLA Aminul Islam was arrested on charges of treason. He is accused of supporting the Pakistan and Pahalgam attack.

In an election meeting on 2 April, Chief Minister Sarma warned that whoever raises slogans of Pakistan Zindabad, his legs will be broken. At the same time, he appealed to the public to pray for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Army so that wherever Pakistani terrorists are hidden in the world, they can be punished.

26 tourists killed in Pahalgam attack

On April 22, 26 tourists were killed by terrorists in Basaron Valley near Pahalgam. Among them was a Nepali citizen. More than 10 people were injured. The attack was carried out when a large number of tourists were present in the Basaron Valley. Among the dead are tourists from UP, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Odisha. One tourist and 2 locals of Nepal and UAE were also killed.
