Tara M Khanna’s first solo art exhibition took place on Saturday at IFBE (Ice Factory) located in Ballard Estate, Mumbai. The name of this exhibition was ‘Still, It Moves’. The show was for a single day and remained open to the people from 11 am to 8 pm.
In this, Tara showed nature, moving things, stagnation and spiritual thinking in her own way. It was a special glimpse of a contemporary art i.e. modern art.

Question: What is the theme of this exhibition?
answer: ‘Still, IT moves’ is an attempt to explore the relationship between speed and stability. In this, the rhythm, change and surrender of nature can be felt through pictures.
Question: There is also a glimpse of spirituality in your painting?
answer: Absolutely. This exhibition is a spiritual offering for me. A sense of gratitude. I have also included pictures of deities. I believe that true art comes out of the soul.
Question: Tell us about “Sacred Sve” painting.
answer: It keeps Shri Krishna at the center. He is danced in a golden light. This is an attempt to show their innocence and intellectualism together.
Question: Why did it title “Sacred Sve”?
answer: Because it symbolizes the stability hidden in the constant pace of life. A sacred balance.
Question: Where did you get the idea of this image?

‘Sacred Sve’ symbolizes the stability hidden in the constant pace of life.
answer: My early memories. Wherever I saw idols, temples, glimpses of deities, the same became the basis.
Question: Another painting shows the forest and sunset. What is his feeling?
answer: That is the time to return. Everything is returning home. It reflects a deep, inner journey.
Question: What message is hidden in two boat paintings?
answer: He is a symbol of transition. One boat is going and one is coming. Time goes on, something goes, something comes.
Question: How long did you take to complete these paintings?
answer: It took about three weeks. However, this process was going on in my intercourse for years.
Question: When did your art journey begin?
answer: I think I had realized before the fifth grade that I would go in this direction. People also recognized my work in school.
Question: Have you been an artist, which you have been impressed?
answer: I am MF I appreciate names like Hussain and Raja Ravi Verma, but my inspiration comes from contemporary experiences and myself. Today’s art scene is very diverse.

answer: Perhaps it can be called “Magical Realism”. Where a bridge is formed between reality and imagination. Like a combination of abstract and fertilizer art.
Question: What is your biggest inspiration?
answer: Nature. I travel a lot and record my experiences. Shraddha towards God is also a deep part of my art.
Question: What do you see between nature and God?
answer: For me both are contained in each other. I have tried to find the same balance in this exhibition.
