The National Testing Agency i.e. NTA has identified 106 telegrams and 16 Instagram channels that make false claims about NEET-OG on 1 May today. These channels were spreading fake information.
More than 1,500 complaints related to paper leaks of NEET-Og Medical Entrance Exam have been lodged on the NTA portal.
NEET UG 2025 claims to be question papers
To save the integrity of NEET (UG) 2025 Examination Process, NTA has initiated action against fake telegram and Instagram channels that were claiming that they have question papers of NEET UG 2025.

NTA has asked Telegram and Instagram to remove these channels immediately so that false information and unnecessary panic among the students.
NTA has identified 106 telegrams and 16 Instagram channels based on the recently launched suscinus claim reporting portal, which were spreading misinformation and misleading students.
NTA has submitted these cases to the Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs for further legal and investigation action. Also, Telegram and Instagram have been asked to share information about the admin and creators of these groups with law information agencies to immediately investigate and take action.
NEET exam is to be held on May 4
The NEET UG exam will be held on 4 May. The Ministry of Education (Moe) is holding several meetings with District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police of all states and union territories so that there is no lapse in the NEET-OG exam.
The Ministry is implementing a comprehensive plan for the protection of the examination this time in view of the disturbances, including the paper leaks last year, including the paper leaks.
Paper leak incident occurred at some centers last year
The NEET-un 2024 examination was held on 5 May, in which around 24 lakh candidates were involved. On the same day, Shastri Nagar Police in Patna, Bihar arrested Sikander Yadav (Junior Engineer), Anurag Yadav (a NEET Candidate) and two others on the basis of the paper leak.
NTA declared the result on June 4, 10 days before 14 June. On this day, the counting of Lok Sabha elections was being held. In the result, 67 candidates got the entire 720 marks, which was not yet in the history of NTA. Of these, 6 candidates were from the same center in Faridabad, Haryana. Due to this, there was doubt about disturbances and irregularities in the exam.
Many students complained against NTA in the court and raised the demand for cancellation of the results. After several hearings, the Supreme Court admitted that the papers were leaked at some exam centers.
