‘The Bhootni’ There is a film that tries to give the audience a unique experience by combining horror and comedy. Its story begins with a college, where there is a tree called Virgin Tree. Every year on 14 February i.e. Valentine’s Day, students come near this tree and ask for their incomplete love to fulfill their incomplete love. However, some people consider this tree to be cursed, as it is believed that many students have committed suicide due to this.
The heart -broken Shantanu (Sunny Singh) near this tree narrates the pain of his incomplete love and this is where the soul comes in his life as ‘love’ earthquake. Then there is an entry of Paranormal Expert and Ghost Hunter Krishna Tripathi (Sanjay Dutt). The story goes through the deception of science, religion and souls and finally ends with the victory of love.

Talking about acting Sunny Singh has easily played the character of Shantanu. Palak Tiwari is beautiful in the role of ‘Ananya’ and has performed well. Mouni Roy seems strong in the role of Atma ‘Mohabbat’ and has a depth pair in the story with her acting. Panch is seen in the comedy of Bironic and Asif Khan, but the real show stopper is Sanjay Dutt, whose presence on the screen keeps the audience tied.
Direction and writing Director and writer Siddhant Sachdev has tried to capitalize on the trend of horror-comedy. However, the story and screenplay have many loop holes, which they try to fill with comedy and Sanjay Dutt’s star power. Some scenes in the first half seem forcibly pairs, but after the interval the film gains pace.

Music and technical aspects Amar Mohile’s background music is effective, but songs do not leave any significant impact.
Final Wordict If you are fond of horror-comedy and are planning to see Sanjay Dutt and Mouni Roy on the big screen, then you can definitely see ‘The Bhootni’ once.
